Toledo is a walled city about 55 miles south of Madrid, whose cultural history dates back to the Roman empire. In the 16th century it was the capital of the Spanish Empire, and a place where Christian, Jewish and Muslim cultures co-existed. After the royal court was moved to Madrid, the city went through a prolonged economic decline. This decline halted development, which in turn preserved the city's many ancient landmarks. Toledo was a beautiful backdrop for this small, intimate wedding. Alvin and Joanna were a true joy to work with, and the entire experience was as unforgettable as it was inspiring.
